We would like to let you folks know that our good buddy Aaron Wynne will be hitting the road with us! And we are planning to hit the road very soon as we line up shows daily. Wynne plays the hell out of a steel guitar, as well as several other instruments, and he can also write one hell of a song. You can hear his talents on the new album playing both steel guitar and piano. We have been playing together for years, both in the studio and onstage, and it will be great to make it a nightly occurence. The artwork for "Can't Afford the Luck" is being finished up! I think y'all are gonna all dig the album cover our buddy Bubba from Elm Street Tattoos worked up for us. I stopped by for a visit last Sunday and walked out with a brand new tattoo! What are the odds? I dig it. If you want some ink head over to Elm Street...They'll treat you right! As I mentioned before, our calendar is filling up and we will be posting dates very soon. Meanwhile we will be hard at work in rehearsals and preparing for the release of a new single. Go Rangers and we look forward to seeing all y'all real soon! Thank You, MRB MRB News April 20- We are in the process of updating and rebuilding our site. Please check back as we will be making changes. We have finished up recording our new album "Can't Afford the Luck". The album has 12 new honky tonk tracks; 11 originals and one remake of a Chips Moman written song, that Waylon Jennings recorded. I had the help of a few good friends in writing this album. "Lonesome Waiting at Home" is a waltz that I wrote with my good buddy and drummer Brandon Rice (we call him Spud). With the help of my good friends Heath Webb and Johnny Hord "Sweet Chiba, Mi Amiga" came to life. Making the album was a great experience and we can not wait for you folks to hear it! We did all of the tracking and mixing at Red Star Recording Studios (www.redstarrecordingstudios.com) in Arlington, TX. Robby Baxter produced the album and we could not be happier with the job he did. Robby is also now a member of the MRB, taking over the lead guitar spot, and we would like to welcome him aboard! To finish up the album we made a trip to Lurssen Mastering (www.lurssenmastering.com) in Los Angeles, CA to have all of the tracks mastered. Gavin Lurssen and his team did an incredible job on the mastering! We also had a damn good time in California and thank everyone we met out there for their hospitality! (We hope to be back yer way soon!) We will be releasing a new single to radio soon so please keep your ears on! We are all kinds of fired up with all that we have heading your way! Please check back often as we rebuild our site and prepare for the launch of our brand new album "Can't Afford the Luck"!! Thank You, Mo Robson |
